What exactly is a forest bath?
A forest bath is a form of spending time in contact with the forest or other natural environment. Its specialty lies in the way we establish this contact and the beneficial effects it brings.
It is intended to improve well-being, similar to physical exercise, a balanced diet and quality sleep. It is not a botanical walk and it is not a lecture. It is a time and space dedicated to mindful presence, contact with the environment and oneself.
How to equip yourself for a pleasant experience
Experience shows that good preparation has a significant impact on the experience itself, so I ask you to pay some attention to your equipment before participating: footwear, clothing and basic equipment. The forest paths are occasionally wet, so I recommend that you have footwear that you are okay with if it is a bit muddy at the end of the walk.
